It was a FANTASTIC decision to take a character intended to be a Jewish stereotype and have her be black, where those traits are not stereotypical. She did a great job in that role.

I will forever be pissed Zack and Lisa didn’t date in the show. The chemistry was right there !!

Jose, what I appreciate most about you is your ability to criticize a piece of media without trying to destroy it or make the viewer feel bad for having liked it. You always put everything in the proper context and come from a place of honesty.

I love how half the cast of Starship Troopers appeared in this show 😂

I was so young when this aired that I didn't realize just how young the cast was when the show started. They all look like babies now.

Without Saved By The Bell, there would be no Boy Meets World, Drake & Josh, iCarly and the iconic teen sitcoms of Disney Channel.

The way Zack has to constantly learn the same lessons really made  "Zack Morris is thrash" great though.

I spent 24 hours in Santa Barbara county jail with screech almost 20 years ago to the day.

He didn’t talk much.

Hope that was enough algorithm engagement. Looking forward to this one.

The Zach-Slater fight was oddly intense for 'Saved By The Bell' of all shows

I think one of the strengths of Saved by the Bell's approach to issues is that it's aware of who its audience is and what power they do and don't have. An episode focused on the unhoused aimed at adults probably should discuss the deeper societal issues at play, but Saved by the Bell knew that the main thing it needed to do was tell kids that these people need to be treated with respect and helped however you can. That also doesn't mean that these kids are powerless; Jessie let them swing at telling them that they can enact change, just in the ways that teenagers actually have the capacity for.

The Malibu Sands arc felt so much longer than 6 episodes!

I used to do security escorts and met Mr Belding. Of all the people I did security for, he was easily one of the nicest down to earth people I ever had the opportunity to protect

Look, chat!  It’s “Zack Morris is Trash” the sequel!! 🥳🥳🥳

As a 42 year old guy this show launched my day every morning from '96-'98 in Aurora Ontario. It just worked. Now, like every Jose video about a show I watched 30 years ago, I'll finally figure out why

I think a Wonder Years retrospective would be amazing!!

I watched this show from Good Morning Miss Bliss through the beginning of The College Years. It was a great show that I was the perfect age for as it evolved.

This is what Homelander saw as he died, a montage of himself living a "normal" life in this show

My morning schedule from elementary school to high school was based around saved by the bell on TBS

I grew up in southern California during the 90s and this show was the entire aesthetic of my fifth grade class. It's weird to see it with the eyes of an adult. Those were good days.

I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO EXCITED!
