This is flat out amazing, we need more people like this this. Dude went through so much and still came out on top, and reached all of his goals. Amazing story, and an amazing man. I wish I could meet this guy.

Wonderful . Very inspiring  to hear the real story behind his success. I love the part where he talks about his commitment to himself at five years old.

This man is well educated. His demeanor is so humble that he doesn't boast about it. I am reading his book now, and how he used to read at the public library is testimonial to the fact that he had a strong determination not to be a low life alcoholic, or  abuser, or mean minded ignorant fool like the people who tried to tormented him and put him down.

All I can say is that his mother is somebody to be highly held in awe as one of God's angels on earth.

I believe that words are strong, that they can overwhelm what we fear when fear seems more awful than life is good.

this speech motivated me a lot when i saw the movie it really touch my heart...i can relate to his situation before.
i lost my job even i dont deserve to terminated i dont have budget to pay my rent,for travel expense i had almost nothing...
But when i saw this....it makes me realise faith is one of the key to get back on track again....thanks chris for the speech.

OMG!! This is touching indeed. Love at the ending of Pursuit of Happiness were they had you walked pass Will Smith and his Son at the ending of the movie. ❤
