Honestly the seasons get progressively better. S1’s biggest problem is pacing and somewhat plot holes as it was never expected to become as big as it has, not to mention in S2 the lore was heavily changed and also somewhat retconned but not entirely. The Treasure Arc time period after the initial bit of S2 is where a lot of the retcons occur and where the new baseline of what Unstable really is in the modern day begins to take shape. A server with thousands to tends of thousands of players with glitched and unnatural terrain such as the Great Sea, The Amplified, The UnderWorld, Farlands, and later other such places like The Mist. Along with many secrets this server holds, not to mention a vast and very long history. Examples of that is The Tomb of The Mafia or Verdaria. Also when I say the Treasure Arc time period that also includes the Skill Arc(Used to be Skill vs Power Arc), the Fake Identity Arc, and part of the Bat Arc.

S1 overall is just the groundwork of what Unstable truly becomes. Though it does have some INCREDIBLE episodes or scenes. Ash for instance which is basically everything he’s in. Or Spoke when he infiltrated the Mafia which shows many sides to his personalities, his mistakes, and other such things.

S2 is when Unstable really started to shape itself into what it is today. With some really iconic moments, like “It’s all yours.”, not just in Unstable either entirely. It having improved GREATLY in comparison to the likes of S1 in a lot of aspects and story telling. Not to mention the lot shorter episodes and better pacing. Though for someone like Spoke for instance I’d say the first half of this season wasn’t very good though I understand why it went in the direction it did, though could have been executed better. Though the second half was much better and honestly arguably Spokes singular best episode in Unstable, aka when Mapic went missing. Then also a new Protagonist, FlameFrags. I will say it wasn’t that good at first but I will say Flames improvement in story telling and just overall in general was very gradual but he genuinely REALLY improved, his Training Arc/Kings Arc being one of best. Then there of course is Wemmbu and Parrot, Wemmbu in this season I feel like is when he really began to shine. As in S1 I would say Wemmbu overall was probably the worst but in S2 I’d say Wemmbu was probably the best if not it would be Parrot. Not Flame due for a while he just getting his footing in this time of content/art, and Spoke having a ruff start in the first half.

S3 I feel like is when they all finally started to REALLY build something truly beautiful. The best season so far and it isn’t even completed yet. There is far too much to be said about this. Having built upon all that came before. I won’t say much here as I’ll let you see it for yourself.

The series isn’t perfect but in each season and in all honestly in each different part of this series it improves more and more as they are constantly improving. It’s a series that never stops improving and getting better. I really recommend you watch the whole thing, though personally maybe S1 isn’t the best place to start if you want to get interested initially. Though if you have the motivation to watch all of it to start then go for it! I personally started with the Director arc when I first found it, not really knowing what it was when it came out. But I got hooked and after watching it I eventually returned to the beginning of Unstable and binged through it all.

Good luck on watching Unstable, you won’t regret it. Will take a while though… that’s for sure. I have A WHOLE LOT MORE TO SAY, but I haft to do something and this is a quick summary of my thoughts as I’m thinking it. Picking at some notable flaws so you will be warned as well. Though I absolutely suggest you to watch it all. Personality I think all the perspectives are great but very different. Spoke having the worst and best points in the series. Flame being very consistent and has a clear gradual slow growth as he improves in both story telling and as a character. Parrot being by far the most story telling driven, being the most consistently good/solid if not incredible. And Wemmbu is, well I mean it’s Wemmbu, yet honestly far more complicated than that. Honestly now that I think about it, how their writing progresses or how they do write is very similar to the characters they play. But that makes sense as their “characters” are generally very similar to themselves.

Also have a good time watching Unstable, I keep meaning to end this but keep prolonging it-SO I’m gonna end it here. Have a good day, you will enjoy Unstable far more than you think.

I promise you it gets better later on!! I think in the earlier videos, their format and style is based on how they always made videos. Since Unstable has grown to be this bigger series, their video style had to evolve with it :)

The season one has a basic story until the mafia arc. That arc is the embodiment of despair in Unstable lol, I still remember that feeling, so Im sure you will enjoy it too

during the early episodes, wemmbu was supposed to be seen as a laughing stock. while in the later episodes (especially after the power arc), he's supposed to be seen as a universe scale powerhouse who can win any fight.

Now after all these videos, seeing old ones is painful😅 Their new videos is literally cinemas especially parrot has the best storytelling.  Can't wait till you get there..

Imo some vids are more regular minecraft gameplay content while others are genuinely well-written stories. True watching Parrot POV’s mafia arc and director arc which imo are more story-focused.

I lovee your analysis so much, it's not biased and says things as it is. I know a lot of people are saying it but it genuinely gets better especially in Parrots and Spokes POV of the mafia arc and Parrots director arc

After this, Parrot and Spoke's first videos, al of them become 3 hours long for like 20 more videos. And they don't cut the scenes, so that could be pretty bad, and the worldbuilding in season 1 is not as good, as it gets contradicted in season 2 and 3 a few times.
