For clarification, this was done BEFORE the update that added some extra modes and features!

Steam knows Trance, Steam is scared. Steam will update their refund policy.

For some reason him saying "use a lockpick on this" while using a bolt cutter on locks just catches me of guard

as a speedrunner of other Amnesia games and having been active in The Bunker, your route was impressive! Well Played!

The reason why your first attempt at "Cut It Off" didn't work is because the beast cannot spawn before you release the emergency lockdown on your first playthrough.

These refund runs are great, the editing makes it feel pretty intense.

I honeslty love theres a achievement for quitting to main menu when the first enemy shows up

2:28 It should be noted that during your very first playthrough the monster will never come out until you lift the lockdown. After your first playthrough if you select a new game plus he can then come out at any time after you get into the safe room for the first time.

Great run, looked a bit stressful toward the end! Great game too, probably my favorite of the Amnesia titles.

I love it when Trance said "its bunkin time" and bunked all over the place

I knew he was wasting time when he selected easy and didnt activate the handle to open the other areas because the monster doesnt spawn on lower difficulties until you've opened them

This was genius on their end. If refund becomes an actual speedrunning catergory it could make them extra cash. Even if 9/10 times it gets refunded it doesn't cost them anything. They still get that 1 extra purchase. They even get free advertising and a guide to get started all rolled into one video.

Great video, Trance. The refund runs are always entertaining.

This is the first of his videos I’ve watched. Thought it was kinda scummy. Then realized it wasn’t because he buys the game and practices first. Then realized it’s wholesome at the end because he donates all of this to charities. Much love from Tennessee, USA :)

2:38 on the very first playthrough the beast will never leave the hole before the gear is turned and the rest of the bunker is unlocked

what if the reason toussaint went mad was because he was trying to get the shell-shocked achievement but couldnt do it and went insane

"before the run starts"
the timer under his facecam:👀

Making molotovs is easier than pouring and lighting fuel.

in case you're wonering why you couldn't get the monster to appear to block it with a box, it's because, on your first playthrough, the monster is actually unable to leave the holes until you've replaced the valve and lifted the emergency lockdown.

Hearing the Hollow Knight OST throughout an Amnesia video threw me off so much, especially considering I just got 100% on that and then moved to Amnesia. 🤣
