This man is an eccentric surrealist. He is strange, an enigma, at the same time a musician, a producer, a wizard, a captivating lyricist, an animator, a mom, and ultimately, I believe he is one of the most important artists of the last few decades.

Welcome back to analyzing the strange world of Jack Stauber.

for me fighter is about masking.

My family has a history of adhd, and possible autism.
My mom taught me to mask my symptoms from a young age.
and the part of his song that says "If you truly love me Why'd you train me to fight?" hits hard for me.
and "When I learn To look stern You broke my heart and now it's your turn It's your turn" Is how I feel my mom felt having to teach me how to mask after being taught to mask herself.

Jack Stauber’s music is what 2021 and 2022 felt like to experience. A feeling of nostalgia, a longing to visit a home we never knew. We were stuck inside and longing for that time when we could go outside. It’s also what it’s like to watch Bo Burnham’s Inside for the first time. You feel trapped with Bo, watching him slowly lose it. Then it ends with message “it’ll end any day now.”

I opened YouTube thinking “ok we’re not gonna get sucked in to the random recommendations I just need to find this song” and sighed so loudly as I clicked this video and watched the entire thing

Another potential interpretation of Baby Son Adoring Us is seeing the baby as a metaphor for something you created. Sometimes we all start projects we wind up giving up on or other people misinterpret. Just kind of how I saw it. Like, "That thing I haven't finished is fine. Just fine! IT'S NOT BOTHERING ME AT ALL!" And you try to ignore the problem until it magically goes away, except of course it never actually does.

This series intoduced me to both Daniel and Jack Stauber. Thank you so much for making this.

Daniel is love, Daniel is life, Daniel will hunt you with a carving knife.
