PAINTING LOOSE with ACRYLICS! BORDER COLLIE Portrait is a fully narrated, timelapse acrylic painting tutorial created for beginners, intermediate, and professional artists who want to develop a loose, expressive painting style while retaining beautiful realistic details. Using a simplified palette and proven acrylic painting techniques, this Youtube lesson demonstrates how to create a vibrant Border Collie portrait full of character, atmosphere, and painterly energy.

In this step-by-step acrylic painting tutorial, you'll learn how to keep acrylic paints wet for longer, allowing smoother blending, softer transitions, and greater control over your brushwork. Discover how to simplify shapes, establish strong tonal values, create convincing fur textures, and combine impressionist and abstract brushstrokes with carefully placed realist details to produce a striking focal point. The tutorial also covers colour mixing, layering, edge control, composition, and expressive mark-making techniques that bring depth and movement to your artwork.

Perfect for artists interested in Border Collie painting, dog portraits, pet portrait painting, acrylic painting techniques, impressionism, abstract realism, loose painting, expressive brushwork, and colour harmony. Build confidence with acrylics while creating atmospheric animal portraits full of texture, life, and visual impact.
