I bought a Thai con for 15 euro at a generic plant market. Thats why I don’t jump on plant trends. Especially for something as easy to tc as monsteras. All these fancy monsteras like bulbasaur people are going broke for will be on sale at Lidl in a couple of years 😆

This is one of my favourite types of videos: relaxing, informative and it shows me what shops have in the UK that might differ from our ones here in Italy ❤

I found myself elderly and disabled in the past few years so tending houseplants is difficult. But I have grown them for over 50 years so I am not going to stop now!! So I grow easy plants like Scindapsis, Syngonium, ZZ, Hoya Australis, Ring of Fire, several varieties of Jade Plants, Jasmine, and of course Pothos. If you want a very lush beautiful plant get a Jade Pothos. It grows large and fast and is very bushy, just gorgeous!! It grows much more bushy than the other varieties. It you want a very beautiful plant that no one else has try a Siderasis Fuscata. I have never seen it in any current plant you tubers videos. Anyway Siderasis Fuscata needs a lot of humidity to thrive. I grow mine in a bubble bowl. But if you can provide high humidity it can be trained to grow as a pot plant. And it has never had pests. With two babies you wont have much time. So I suggest to grow easy plants and do a lot of self watering pots. Happy Growing!!

Are we going to talk about that variegated aloe pushing pups out of the drainage holes? So funny

I absolutely loved the video. It gives girls across the pond a look at your plant stores and how differently the stores are set up and the prices. 😊😊

I bought a saxifraga after I saw yours. It was drying out so fast I thought it was a goner. I put it in my prop box and it’s sprung back to life and put out its first tendril.

I love the "I'll come back to that" trick. You save a lot of money that way.

@12:01 “ohmigad no!!! My croissant!” 😂😂

I loved plant shopping with you, and I have never liked plant shopping on YouTube before. Your babies have probably already been mesmerised by your gentle and cultivated voice and will grow into very genteel little girls or lads. In a few years you'll be needing pot buddies for every pot. Your partner will need to start making those very soon. Wishing all four of you the best.

YES! Please do make more videos like this if you can!!! 😃 Though I’ll understand with the 2 little ones coming! 😊😊 I live in the Southern US and we just don’t have many places that sell houseplants! Most people only buy garden plants around me. 🙁 I felt like I was right in the store with you! Totally enjoyed it!!! ❤

I screamed, "aaaaaah," when the croissant took a tumble!

17:44 is the Teddy Bear Tradescantia. I have a large one, and so easy to take care of. Yes, please make more day trip videos at the plant centers.

Coming away without buying a plant would have been too much to ask for. You done well though to only get the one plant. I really thought you were going to get the ficus tineke. Glad you’re feeling better Claire.

With the new journey you've embarked on, I wouldn't pick ANY plant that is demanding in any way. No prayer plants, no crawlers, no Alocasias, no thirsty ones, nothing that demands super high humidity...I'd stick to tree Dracaenas, snake plants, Aglaonemas, pothos...there are so many varieties to choose from within those groups!
