The worst part about the helbrute, you don't even need to be mortally wounded among the chaos legions to become one. Thousand Sons regularly trick their own marines into becoming helbrutes.
I mean wh40k is so dark that there are even more horrendous fates awaiting. Worse still if your head ends up working something ridiculous, like the lock on a box or a door.
Give me my Blood Angels successor chapter that sees the Black Rage not as a curse but as their genefather reaching out psychically to aid them when they need it most and, thus, embrace it and can safely come back from it if physically healthy
The BA's flaw is totally there in the new Primaris Space Marines. It's just deeply hidden but its there. And as the recent novels over the past few years shown, when they go into the rage, ho boy.
a little lore correction about the Black rage , which also includes the Red thirst in it, Its been a Gene flaw for ever, and started happening more and more during the great crusade upto the start of the Heresy, Horus actually witnessed it and ended up using it against Sanguinius

Covens have always been fascinating, you know something seriously fucked up is going on when your regular commorites finds them beyond insane for DE standards and that's not even mentioning the worst of them all called Rakarth constantly pushing limits far past insanity with a new creation even more disgusting than the previous ond, I absolutely adore them, outstanding concept.
