This is the Egypt they never show in TV

i grew up in East Europe  Moldova  ,  as a christian little girl /  child i used to go threw  garbage  myself to be able to eat - until i moved to Usa -  i am not ashamed to talk about my past .  It made me work harder and harder every day without complaining

I was over in Cairo and the pyramids in 2003. It was heart breaking to see those poor people living in abject poverty.

People that live in the u.s should look at this and be thankful.

Definitely not what I thought Egypt would look like based on how it's portrayed in films.

Those poor animals, the way they are kept and treated is absolutely abhorrent

I went to college with a man from Egypt.  He must've been from a rich family.  Never knew Egypt was this bad!😮

egypt is only ok if you stay at the 5 star resorts/hotels and hangout in the tourist/ expensive areas. Even then, it is highly stressful to be on their road. The way they drive is lol...

As Muslim, I am very sad to see this. I am sorry to my christian brothers and sisters. I wish I had any power in my hands to change this situation.

Something like this makes me so greatful that I live in the country that I live in USA.

Thank you so much for sharing these people's struggles 🙏. I'm excited to hear so many are christian and even in their circumstance they understand this is a problem for the whole world. I pray things will get better for them . We are in the end times and watching the world and its goings on as they apply to  Biblical prophecy is important to getting everyone's stories out . I'm homeless in America and a recovering addict , me and my fiance are in a hotel but moving with friends in the country in less than a week and can say things at there worst are still better than most other countries and thats awful and unacceptable. Our long term plan is to buy an Camper / RV ,get a puppy and live mostly outside of societal norms. Its strange to me that there are countries whose governments try to keep people living in buildings rather than more nomadic lifestyles. Its really about controlling people.  God Bless and protect you all.

Wow, one would never expect to see this level of poverty in Egypt.
I know Egypt is nowhere near a wealthy nation, but damn, how can
you allow your people exist like this. The government of Egypt has
failed, there are many nations with poor economies but their people
can at least have a decent place to live and have a means to support
their families. These people are literally living in garbage on the streets.

I was in Egypt and I hated it... Oh my god that was a complete chaos. People were trying to harass me, scam me, staring at me, police weren't even cooperative. It was pretty polluted. I will never go back and also I'm trying to convince everyone not to go to Egypt and avoid it as much as you can. Stay away from Egypt.

I was in cab and driver asked if I'm a muslim, later he said I should convert to islam.

I heard on the way to luxor from alexandria people threw their babies beneath the car to charge money as they already have lots of children and  wanna get rid of them anyway.

Even for the water bottle they scammed me lots of time, which was completely insane.

Just imagine if possible , the leader of these people build a presidential palace 10 times bigger than the White House among many others .
