Why didn't he get an Emmy for his role?

Best character of the show. I love how it shows him in the begining and his transition into the Penguin and his total psyche change.

Robin Lord Taylor looks like Spider-Man 3's Emo Tobey Maguire on steroids or very very strong drugs. 🤣

Penguin was like the best part of the series. He went from being a servant lapdog and turned into the Chaos Of Gotham.... his Origins are deep but with terrible pain and tragedy that even Batman can relate to. That's why Batman understand Penguin. Penguin would have been a good guy if he didn't have messed up people in his life.

This guy has way too much fun in this role

Penguin is canonically the most sane character in the comics. They made him into one of the most insane characters in that show

He certainly nailed this role. He deserved all of the praise.

I love how every time Oswalt is telling the truth nobody believes him 😂 it makes the quarrels between characters funnier

As good as Burgess Meredith, Danny Devito & Colin Farrell are, this might be the best performance of The Penguin.

Pengiun was the reason i watched gotham

He is the reason this show has got whatever the views it has

You know, in reteospect his portrayal works as a precursor to the Colin Farrell one. I can totally see the Robin Lord Taylor version doing the "I GOT YOU! I got YOU!!" line from The Batman

Got I really want Robin Lord Taylor to do a full cover of "I wake up alone" by Amy Winehouse in character. We deserve it

For a show that was supposed to be centered around Bruce Wayne and Jim Gordon, he completely stole the show. He was so good he legit made himself THE main character in the first few seasons

It’s a shame the character went downhill in the latter half but I think it’s cause the writers realized that they wrote him too well to begin with lol

He is the best character in the show hands down

As most people here I agree to give best character development to Oswald.

Best villain in Gotham

I like him cuz he wears snappy smart suits

From Abernathy in Accepted to Cobblepot/The Penguin in Gotham... dude really has some serious acting skills

I love the sweat in on his upper mouth lips when in an intense situation
