Really sad. I met Smith once back around 2010 when I worked at a local TV station and he was doing the rounds promoting one of his movies. By far the most normal celebrity I had ever met. We had set aside a "green room" for celebrities, but Smith just ignored it, filled a paper cup with water from the water fountain out in the hallway and then stood with the crew chatting until it was time for him to go on the air. Apparently one of his kids was blowing up his phone with texts wanting permission to go to a birthday party or something, so we all stood around discussing our kids with him like he was just another member of the crew.

Grew up thinking Will was one of the coolest dudes ever. Until adulthood and the realisation he is an absolute wet blanket is hilarious.

That saying about it taking a lifetime to make a reputation and being able to destroy it in seconds….

As the comedian Jimmy Carr correctly pointed out, Will Smith is such a great actor he had us all believing for decades that he was a nice guy.

Uncle Phil would be so disappointed.

All those things that went wrong with Will Smith's life must've been a real............... slap in the face.........

12:26 is there a single person alive that thought Will and Jada had one of the strongest marriages in Hollywood? She doesn’t even seem to like him

Jada is that one bullet that didn't want to be fired by Will.

All he had to do was ignore that joke. Everyone would have forgotten about it and gone on.

You left out the part where Jada basically spent the entire aftermath of the Slap talking about how she never really loved Will in the first place, how she was really in love with Tupac and she only married Will as a back-up option after Tupac died.

Will's entire marriage is basically one long cucking session to a guy who died over 30 years ago this September.

0:32 he’s a rapper that became an actor. Music wasn’t his “sideline”, acting was

I never skip a will smith analysis video

A simple eye roll would have saved your ass, Will.

NGL, the "best hit in years" jokes made me laugh at the time

Will just finally showed his real self.

All that for a woman who loves another (dead) man instead of him. Crazy work 😏

Was bad he slapped chris....but before he laughed or smiled at the joke....looked at his wifes reaction then changed his tune,...shows who was in charge there

The GI Jane joke wasn't offensive or in bad taste. It was a bit lame for a seasoned top comedian. Jada has always had short hair, so the bald was taken as a style by everyone & would've been forgotten by the interval since it was a lame joke, as noted before.

I can't watch him in movies after this assault.  😢

One slap.  One act of assault.  One decision.  It didn’t have to be like this.  If Will Smith had just controlled himself for forty minutes longer, he would’ve been PROUDLY holding his Oscar.  BUT NO…pride comes before a fall at the end of the day.
