◆ Mou Hitotsu no Kyoto Ujo Soan Stay Review

We visited “Mou Hitotsu no Kyoto Ujo Soan,” a quiet hideaway for adults located in Yuhigaura Onsen, Kyotango, Kyoto.

In July 2025, the ryokan was renewed around its special villa “Zuiu,” a relocated traditional farmhouse with a history of over 160 years, and its private dining venue “Amatsumizu.”
It is a peaceful onsen ryokan with only six rooms, surrounded by deep tranquility.

In this video, we share our stay in a detached villa nestled among bamboo groves, complete with its own open-air hot spring bath.

The approximately 70-square-meter guest room features a Japanese-style room, bedroom, living room, deck terrace, and a private open-air bath that can be enjoyed at any time during the stay. It is truly a perfect retreat for adults who wish to relax and immerse themselves in the hot spring experience.

Highlights include the smooth waters of Yuhigaura Onsen, the large public baths at the neighboring sister properties “Kashoen” and “Bettei Fuka,” and the refined coastal Kyoto cuisine served at the fully private dining venue “Amatsumizu,” making the most of the seasonal blessings of Tango and Tajima.

Our route this time: We traveled to Kyoto Station by Shinkansen, then used a rental car from there.
