Barry was good but did you know he was THIS GOOD?!?!

Had season tickets back then. Barry was worth the price of admission alone. We won't see this again.

When I watch Barry's highlight runs, what always stands out to me is how many of the guys he made look foolish are currently in the Hall of Fame. He was outclassing the best of the best.

There's no doubt Barry was the best. Speed, moves, changing direction, slippery. He was hard to bring down.

How good was Barry Sanders? He was so good he didn't need to brag. He didn't need to celebrate. He didn't give himself a nickname. Because when you could do what Barry Sanders could do out on that field you don't need any of that for people to know you are the best. It's self evident to EVERYONE. Barry Sanders could do something I had never seen before or since. This man could turn on a dime and accelerate at full speed in the opposite direction at a moment's notice. He wasn't the largest back in the game. He wasn't the fastest back in the game. But this supernatural center of gravity Barry Sanders had is something we may never see ever again. I was honored to watch him play football. And I am proud he played for my favorite team. My mother cried the day he retired she loved to watch him play so much. And Barry continues to amaze people to this day all these years later. This man retired 27 years ago and we still talk about how amazing he was. That is how good Barry Sanders was.

Barry is the GOAT.  To this day I’m still surprise his dad didn’t send him off as the GOAT at his Hall Of Fame speech.  Hearing his dad acknowledging he’s the greatest will put an ever lasting smile on his face as his dad always say Jim Brown is the best.

During Sander's Heisman year-1988-he rushed for over 300 hundred yards in each of 4 separate games and holds the NCAA record for most rushing yards in a season.

Barry had 15K in 10 years. It doesn’t even seem real

To me - Barry Sanders is the GOAT!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Well said.

Barry the 🐐… this was great!

🐐

Barry Sanders was the truth

Top 3? NUMBER ONE BABY

Lol you did not have to do Scott Mitchell like that 😂

Barry wasn't GOOD......he was the BEST!!!!!!!

Love Barry, and love watching highlight videos, but your facts are WAY off in this. In his 2053 yd season in 1997, you said he started that season with over 100 yds in each of the first 6 games. Incorrect. He only had 53 total yards after the first 2 games of the season because new head coach Bobby Ross didn't understand what he had. Then Barry ran for over 100 yards for the next 14 straight games setting the NFL record for consecutive 100 yard games, finishing with 2053 yards. You also said that Barry had 169 yards against Tampa in the playoffs that year. Incorrect again, he had 65 yards on 18 carries and 43 yards receiving on 5 catches. It was the playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers after the 1993 season that Barry had 169 yards on 27 carries. Barry had 1115 yards in 11 games that year on pace for 1600+ but a knee injury forced him to miss the final 5 games of the season. He returned for the playoff game, but his 169 yard effort wasn't enough and the Packers won 28-24. There were a few other errors, but those are the main ones.
I'm a lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, Pistons and Michigan State Spartans, born and raised in Michigan since 1974. Barry is one of my all time heroes. I thank you for the video, it's a great tribute to the best pure runner in NFL history. But you really should double check your info before posting it.

How good actually was Barry the best to ever do it he is the greatest to ever do it bottom line
