We're already on the second video for making your own homemade bikepacking bag. A truly DIY piece of kit, let's get started!

I'll explain how I designed the pattern and then sewed the frame bag (you can find the toptube tutorial on my channel)!

First of all, you'll need a sewing machine and thread, as well as:

For the pattern:
Cardboard
Pencil/ruler/eraser/cutter
Fabric (plain cotton or old sheet: approximately 80cm x 100cm)

For the bag:
Suitable material (here I used old hiking bags, but you can find what you're looking for on this website: https://www.extremtextil.de/en . If you want a waterproof material, I recommend XPAC: https://www.extremtextil.de/en/x-pac-... It's both water-repellent and durable, which is what I used for my first creations, which you can see on my Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/jua.creatio... , but there are probably other fabrics that work just as well)
A zipper The size you want depends on the size of your creation (you can find waterproof zippers on the same site)
Approximately 40cm of Velcro (x2)
Waterproof seam glue https://www.decathlon.fr/p/reparation...
Polyester thread, you can find more or less durable threads on the extremtextil website. For needles, the best are Microtex; I used: 130/705 H-M 70/10
