Do it again, but a whole day to build the shelter, etc. and spend 24 hours in your shelter. Both with the same budget, though.

No cap thought the survival expert was outdoor boys

If it rains y'all are both screwed, that's a spillway.

Fellas, you likely don't have the perspective yet to realize just how awesome of a life yall are living. I am 48 yrs old, worked my butt off to go to a top univ and law school, and to work 80hrs at two top firms; meanwhile never being able to afford time for hunting or fishing, or family or friends... I have let so much of life slip away with really not much to show for it outside of two incredible kiddos. Yall are living life the right way, making a good living doing things you love. God bless yall

Next time get a couple of big trash bags and stuff then with leaves, pine boughs and dry grass . It's the cheapest bed and provides insulation from the ground.

“You had a better steak
You had a better fire
It starts over now”

“You drank pond water brother”

"solid little shelter" - They both built their shelter and fire in a creek bed, against a large hill with rocks, next to a full pond, and even on top of rocks. 🤣 He did okay with his $25 budget though

Getting everything in the camping section hurt the $25 budget. You can get a blue tarp for like $5 at Walmart and 100ft of rope for like $2 in the boating section, a $2 bait knife in the fishing section or a $1 chef knife in the kitchen department. A gallon of water is like 80cents… a lighter is a dollar or so… he could have done better with that budget for sure.
