Hey Matt! Great job on the video! I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to come by and hang out. I know we got into the weeds on this one, but thanks for asking such good questions and for listening!

I like that this is a literal Ten Minute Bible Hour.

I come from the sda. And I've watched all you videos over some time. The reason I watch is the way you respect and handle these difficult conversations. Keep doing what you do man. I honestly believe the Lord has been guiding you. Thank you.

Hi Matt, just wanted to say thanks for this video. I'm a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor. I love that you weren't shy about asking questions and pushing back, but that you were kind and thoughtful in your conversation and fair in your evaluation. You've really modeled for us how to interact with our brothers and sisters in Christ from different faith traditions. God Bless you!

I'm a skeptical agnostic. But I love history. Studying the western history is impossible without understanding the nuances of Christianity. For that reason I find your channel VERY informative and enjoyable.  I'm also not too proud to admit that I find some of what you discover inspiring.

Sabbath is such a great commandment. You are granted an earthly day to rest, recover and reflect on the testimony of Yeshua.  It’s a day to establish a strong relationship with our creator, develop stronger bonds with family, friends and even testify to the promise of our creator. God bless you all and happy holidays.

Brothers and sisters please take a moment to pray for peace and reconciliation amongst our people today.

Hay Matt. As a SDA pastor this video was great. I like your neutral approach and the way you try to understand the most that you could. Really like your input. Blessings

This is the best way of having meaningful conversations

Thank you!   I am  Catholic and have met some great folks, loving people,  that are   devout Seventh Adventist. Your video gave me new insights and helped answer some of my questions.

Matt, I LOVED that you asked deeper questions! I know it's a year later but here's my view: I grew up SDA, with a minister for a father & I only heard about the investigative judgement when I was in a missionary group in my year after high school. Let that sink in for a minute. I think that so many SDA's have an incomplete perception - and leave -  because they simply just don't know what and why we believe what we do & thus it becomes a thing to do to be 'good' rather than knowing the reason behind it. That is a blight on our recent history - I cannot be the only one. I always thought that the biggest difference was Saturday and not eating bacon haha. I can tell you this though: I was pretty agnostic about my faith until I had the investigative judgement & the millennium explained to me. I felt this strange warmth in my chest that I had never, ever felt before -- & I never knew that it was a doctrine unique to adventism. My heart and head just went, "yes, this makes sense. It's symmetry and beauty and this is the God I'd like to know". I now understand that it was the Holy Spirit drawing me in, and I'm so grateful.

Thank you for asking the good questions, for digging further. I appreciate your probing, genuinely sincere questions. We can all learn a lot from your treatment of fellow believers. Subscribed :)

Great job!  I KNEW the payoff would be great after the cliffhanger from the first video.  I began these videos knowing nothing about Seventh-Day Adventists, and have learned so much from your rich conversation.  These conversations are one of my favorite things on YouTube.  I never miss one.  God bless you!

I made a friend yesterday who's an SDA. Thanks for doing this guys!

This video was fantastic, keep doing what you're doing, Matt.

Great interview.  Thoughtful ,respectful back and forth ..I knew absolutely nothing about adventism .now I know a little more ! I love your approach to your vids ( why I keep returning to them). Thank you!

I really thought the amount of humility that was at the table is incredible.  Almost every Church I have ever attended or visited swore that they had Jesus' personal cellphone number on speed dial.  These guys examined their own understanding against the Bible to determine where they were in error. Great video Matt!

Good job on asking the right questions. There was a lot going on. It's amazing you can remain calm and not defensive when sitting down with three people instead of one.

Matt, I've really appreciated your thoughtful engagement and exchange of ideas without hostility. I've been around some Adventist circles and I think you did a good job getting at the core of things while giving just enough fair push back on the fringe beliefs. On another note, your daily podcast has been a real blessing, as well. I like your authenticity and down to Earth approach. Thanks.
I would love to hear you talk to someone from the Plymouth Brethren camp sometime. Keep it up, brother.

I’ve been getting into your channel recently, Matt, and I have nothing to say but kudos for your humble, respectful approach to religious debates/conversations.

I wish you’re able to come back in touch with seventh-day adventism soon, having the time to process this truckload of introductory info. I think you’d find very interesting, poignant things reviewing the unique aspects of SDA that—naturally—are just scratched-on upon first contact.

Hi Matt. Thanks for the great video. I am SDA from Serbia and it was very interesting to hear about my church from you. It was also interesting to hear how the fellow Adventists from this video portrayed their view of sabbath observance, thinking "hey - that's not how we did it when I was growing up" :D. I have been following your podcast since season 3 and I am really thankful for your service. Keep up the good work!
