I love this do Peter Parker/Spider-Man VS Koichi Haimawari/The Crawler - (Marvel 1610/Ultimate Universe VS Vigilantes: My Hero Academia Illegals)
Connections
Young adults without their parents around, they used to live normal lifes on school and weren't much looked on by being nerds, neither had much friends to talk. They still were the very friendly neighbor we all know in their hearts.
They wanted to be better, be inspiring like the star and stripes heroes Captain America or All Might, but initially they couldn't do much, as they were pretty much normal teenagers untill an incident changed their lives forever: Peter got bitten by a radioactive Spider and Koichi met Knuckleduster.
This inspiration let to a bit of a disapointment, since Koichi never got to personally recognized All Might and sticking with a egotostical american hero called Captain Celebrity, and Peter being called irresponsible and a idiot by Captain America (also discovering he is an ass).
Their worlds show that even if you are seen as a hero, many of them aren't as they look: 1610's heroes are mostly very unheroic, and while less edgy this also fits the MHA universe as well, with some folks like Koichi and Peter being exceptions.
Their powers let them do a bunch of acrobatic moves and well.... crawl. While not being a power for Peter, both can shoot small non lethal projectiles from their hands. Following the same logic, while not being from Koichi's power, both have passive instant reactions to danger, with Peter being the one and only Spider-sense, while Koichi can use his power to shield himself from attacks.
They created secret identities to not be caught or bring danger to their personal life, but eventually many people learn who they are and eventually their identity becomes public (even if for Peter it was post-mortum).
This step into the vigilante life brought them trouble with the police, as being a vigilante in MHA is illegal, and Spidey doing the job of the cops got them upset and JJJ helped his bad fame by blasspheming him.
Their inspirational figure tought lessons to them to never forget, what means to be a hero and then they disappeared from their life (Knuckleduster vanished without a trace and Uncle Ben was killed and abruptly left Peter's life).
Using their powers to be the friendly neighborhood got them some friends and even love interests that got trouble with, being an quirky introspective woman (Gwen/Popstep - tho being on a band makes she connect more with Spider-Gwen than Ultimate Gwen) and an straight foward shining woman (MJ and Makoto Tsukauchi)
In their most important fight in their lives, they faced their biggest villains in a life threatning event. Said villain were delusional men that became monsters and were risking their families and friends safety. In a contrast, Peter was killed by the Green Goblin, while Koichi survived his fight with Number 6, that killed himfelf after the fight.
They actually managed to inspire said egotostical american heroes become better persons, Captain Celebrity's time with Koichi made him learn to be a more selfless person and even took care of him as a sidekick when he needed to move from Japan, and Cap self reflected his life action's after Peter died, to the point he even dropped the Captain America mantle.
It's more fair in stats than using 616 Peter lmao

Nice video. What did you think about giving each character a promo before the match by generating still images in Z-Image Turbo?
