Hey my babes, I’m back with another video and this time I am exposing a new scam that has come my way. I went through the whole process and breakdown what I look for when validating modeling opportunities. This one is filled with receipts and fat checks so make sure you take notes and stay aware of the scams out there.

I got selected as a cast for this Runway Idol TV show. I was on that call too. For the casting, I just thought that Jeremy seems judgy when other models’ walks. I just feel like it’s uncomfortable to walk in front of a lot of people but not one on one. I kinda feel like it’s a scam as you have to pay to get an opportunity. They told me that $2700 is the investment for training and marketing for myself. I decided to not pay the fee and I’m so glad that I didn’t participate in that. I’m still 21 and indecisive about which step I need to take. I’m so glad that you make this video to educate people about this. I wish I see this video sooner.

Hate hate scammers…conventions, contests, schools aka John casablancas and Robert powers, all the searches that travel to different places… oh and now magazines…child model magazine and supermodels unlimited where you pay to be featured and will be on a billboard which you will be because they pay for it but no benefits.

Hello.
I saw your video on avoiding scams. What about a non-agency photography studio?
I am going to a studio (USA Models). While I knew I would have to pay out of pocket for some things, they wanted a “refundable” $50 dollars to show up, although I learned later paying for a test shoot LIKELY goes to the photographer, but they didn't word it like that. Too, when I went to double check on the phone with the person that reached out to me, she said something like I will only pay for my photos if I want to take some home… Im getting mixed messages. ???
I think I got called back way too fast.
Edit: Also is the email going to remind me to have fun and have a great attitude, and if I can't have fun "I won't pursue it seriously". I know it matters, a huge part of this line of work is likeability, but would I be told if I don't Im not serious. Although on the phone She DID say, not a lot of people get picked and "congrats"
