Our beloved cow Ferdy gave birth to a beautiful newborn baby calf right on Mother's Day! Watch Kylah’s reaction when I called her out to the pasture to meet the new arrival for the very first time. As you may know from my other videos, Ferdy was Kylah’s 4H calf that we kept after fair a couple years ago. This is her second calf and it is a little BOY. From the calf's hilarious attempts to stand up (and a few funny faceplants!), to finally taking his first steps and snuggling right against Kylah's leg while Ferdy watches over them, this is what homestead happiness is all about.
