Have you ever looked at a weapon in a game and thought, "How am I even supposed to use this piece of shit?" Don't worry, I'm here now.

It's not that sharp, there's no volcano, what's the deal with that? Am I right, people?

aw yeah my favorite weapon

it just does so much damage and fire damage

its super good because the pyro doesnt have a way to do fire damage without this weapon

I bet 5 bucks he wishes you could festiveize it.

Sad weapon academy: Cool ass battle axe with mid stats

Pyro has 3 types of melee weapons. The offensive ones, the defensive ones, and the bad ones. The bad ones all kinda blend together.

imagine having such a bad weapon rebalance take that it becomes a meme within the community, bleeding for 8 seconds almost makes you wish for a buff.

Honestly an amazing way to fix the overall problems of the sharpened volcano fragment we could lean into the damage overtime affect a little more, it is the “sharpened” volcano fragment after all. We should give it bleed for 8 seconds taking up to 64 damage in total.

idk about yall

but sharp things make me bleed, so we should buff the SVF by giving it 8 seconds of bleed

if there was ever a weapon that needed a complete rework, it's this. The idea is just fundamentally flawed; why would I use my melee to set someone on fire when my primary does it 10x better?

I love how there's so many DoT melee weapons and most of them are mostly useless. Only scout's are actually useful because they provide more benefits than being a melee DoT weapon

I love this weapon so much, I wish there was a strange variant so I could strike fear into the eyes of my slain enemies reading "1000+ kills" on it

"Wait didn't you make an episode on the shar-" The feral hogs are coming.

Ah, the second weapon used solely for a tie-in with a game that died years ago!

Imagine if Afterburn stacked the same way Bleed can, like when the Scout hits you with both the Guillotine and the Ornament.

I'm typing this before the watching video. If the fix isn't "On Hit: Inflict Bleed for 9 seconds," I'm going to be upset.

New meme play style: stupid pyro
Ghostly Gibus
Pyrovision
Volcano Fragment
Only get into fights with other Pyros

I've been telling people it combos with the dragon's fury for years. I feel heard now. I prefer to use it with jetpack so you can jump onto them and melee them immediately as you land.

@rafaeloyarzun6337 1 year ago (edited)

7:50 actually it's 244 with the Backscratcher, it can allow you to 2 shot basically everything short of a overheal heavy and overheal battalions backup Soldier.

@CjJello 1 year ago

I think it should 'erupt' on hit and launch the target straight into the air, preferably using a blasting force so it combos with a certain pyro secondary.

I know it’s a meme but I honestly think changing the weapon to Bleed for 8 seconds would be a good change for the Volcano Fragment. I mean it’s not gonna be good either way but at least it would have something that Pyro can’t already do and couldn’t be countered by the Vaccinator charge so there’s that
