Kelly’s performance was astounding. At some point she supposedly confessed to the crew that the song was a “real bitch to sing.” She covered it only because her fans were insistent, begging her to do it. Congratulations on a job well done, Kelly! Very few people on Earth could have done it.

Kelly is a master class in vocal technique. My favorite singer. ❤❤❤

There is someone who absolutely knows how to use her instrument!  Every time she sings it’s a master class!

That was a fun analysis from a physiological perspective. It has become hard now to get this song out of my head and I can't help but try to sing along with whoever is singing it. I'm not a singer, just a passionate music lover who grew up on the great music of the seventies, in particular, but I love the music from the 50s to 90s. Now, you might guess where I'm going from here... I notice that you didn't talk about Kelly's pitch accuracy. And, that's appropriate, considering that, unfortunately, Kelly's beautiful authentic natural voice - which the audience was fortunate to hear and enjoy - was very heavily pitch-"corrected" post-live performance, before being uploaded to YouTube.

It is a cryin' shame that this sort of vocal destruction is being allowed to happen with impunity to the amazing voices of great singers like Kelly Clarkson. Those of us not lucky enough to be in the audience must settle for second best, in other words. Why there isn't some muscular pushback, let alone an outright revolt, from passionate music lovers and great singers, alike, is absolutely incomprehensible. If we continue to let this happen inside a music industry already awash with digital pitch correction, Auto-Tune live, lip-synching at "live" performances and, now, the explosion of AI-generated music and "artists" then we are in jeopardy of losing real music and authentic vocals to oblivion, eventually.

Kelly is the best

You should hear the high notes Kate Lott from Voctive huts

Your voice was getting pushed when you did the high notes! It's damaging I suppose!
