This performance was the most watched in CMAs history…that’s why they was so mad😂 She came in and taught them how to execute a flawless performance. And now, she’s almost single-handedly pointing the world back to Country’s roots in the Black American Music tradition. And her performing with The Chicks (who were blackballed by their own community for calling out Bush on the senselessness of the Iraq war) was a political statement. A True Queen!! They can stay mad bcuz Cowboy Carter is a MASTERPIECE and will be forever etched into America’s iconic, revolutionary musical canon🙌🏽🎶

What reason did anybody have to be mad!?!? 🤔 WHAT REASON!?!?! This performance was TOO GOOD.

Jaron: "I probably got some notes wrong."
Also Jaron: sings it back perfectly
🤣🤣

It's got that New Orleans Jazz feel to it too

Real talk, Beyonce overall makes a lot of great vocal choices, and knows the history of each genre she chooses to step in. Love it

Literally one of my fav Bey performances. Sis ate DOWN! She prepared us for this country era a long time ago lol

The fact that Daddy Lessons is more country than 90% of the country on the radio right now, and them mfs had the nerve to be mad. 😑

This is the bad experience Beyoncé talked about having that made her create Cowboy Carter out Friday 3.29.. this was CMA highest rated 15 minutes in the history of the show and they had it posted all over their social media but they choose to remove every trace of her because of racist comments flooding their inboxes. Then after removing the performance they got backlash for caving into the racist comments

Beyoncé is so dope. So much range and versatility.

Love this performance! Those who didn’t like it in the audience were ridiculous. I have loved the Dixie Chicks/The Chicks and Beyonce for years! So them coming together like this & as a black woman who likes country music! This performance! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💃🏾💃🏾

Performing each one of the Lemonade songs Live during the album era was so iconic and so underrated. They were all SO good

3:30 love how Beyoncé moves behind the other performers so they can get their shine! Cause she knows the camera will only pan to her

Beyonce : 101 on how how to shut haters up... become number one. Also the sound ur hearing is a undertone of the blues , which is the originator

P. S Beyoncé did the vocal arrangement for this I men she does for everything lol. Her background singers the mamas were holding that ish down.

Momma did what needed to be DONE!

One of my favorite songs from Lemonade

I love how much joy you have for vocal technique! You get so detailed in your analysis and are clearly having an amazing time with it. I just adore watching your videos ❤️ (also, this performance was incredible!)

i love this performance can't wait until friday

I can't wait until Friday 😁! If we can welcome y'all in Hip-Hop and R&B then you can welcome us in Country.. a genre we created in the first place 💅🏿..
