What a gorgeous dog Squidge was. It might be of cold comfort, but at least she crossed over at home, with someone she adored, and not in a vet clinic, which is so much more stressful for animals.

This is the saddest thing I am so sorry, watching your vlogs it shines through how you love your animals. She was a beautiful soul, sending all the prayers and love from one dog mum to another ❤

Oh Fleur, it is so awful seeing a pet in pain, and having to make that decision of saying goodbye, even knowing it is the best decision for them. I am so sorry you and your family had to go through this, especially so soon after losing Growler. I remember when you guys brought home Squidge and Treacle. You have given them the best life, and it was obvious how much there was between them and you. I send positive and healing thoughts your way, and hope Mike, River, Enzo and yourself can grieve peacefully ❤

oh fleur I am so so sorry. This feels like Woof all over again x I don't know you or Squidge but am a wreck...so so hard. Massive hugs to you all and am glad you got home in time as that is so important x I had to do the same for my spaniel and I am glad I was with him at the end as he passed. Squidgey is now living her best life free from the body that slowed her down xx

Mike is the best dog dad. I remember when you were away when Woof was so ill and Mike addressed the beginning of the end. It's so hard, knowing when to have mercy on your pets is a blessing (and it's important for your kids to understand that too). Squidge and Treacle were a dynamic duo, and now they are together again.

I’m so sorry to you and Mike and the kids . I’m in a very similar position . I’ve called twice for the vet to come and I cancelled. I can’t bear it. The pain is indescribable. You’re not alone in your grief. She did wait for you to get home. It’s the hardest decision. I’m sorry that you’ve had 2 losses so close together. I'm so sorry Fleur. I remember seeing Squidge and Treacle as puppies and seeing Woofy in years gone by. RIP Squidge. Treacle, Growler and Woofy are waiting for you xx

So sorry fleur. My 17 year old cat  looked at me in a similar way  that seemed to say I love you and want to be with you but I’m struggling as he actually sat on my feet. The vet came and was so kind. I think they know we love them so much. X

Aw I'm so sorry Fleur and Mike. My heart goes out to you all. It's a grief like no other. She's been such a steady constant for you both and your children as you've gone through your own personal milestones in life. What a privilege to have known her for so long and see her off on a journey that is hard for you. That's true love.
