You shouldn't have switched from yorozu's technique, in the mod there are modes, when you have "liquid metal" active you get all the other technique abilities unlocked other than "true sphere" and "insect armor", when you use "insect armor" you get access to more physical moves(the ones whith a  fist icons on the bottom left), "true sphere" creates a  very strong sphere that will attack anything you hit with physical moves(that also includes the "attack","barrage attack" and "knockback attack") regular m1's don't count as physical moves, nanamis ratio works similarly to this last one, once you apply the ratio mark (you can just press V instead of using the move, that works for any technique not just nanami's, V key quickly uses primary abilities for example: gojos V toggles infinity on and off, sukunas V is dismantle, megumi's and geto's V is to call back all shikigami/curses and Todo's V uses boogie woogie, all techniques in the mod have a V )you just have to hit the marked target with a physical move

Mythical beast amber  transforms your body to electricity using cursed energy, it is a suicide move that only lasts for a time, that's why kashimo only used it when fighting sukuna, in the mod you get an effect for some time, when it ends you die, that's why you died when you switched techniques, the timer forcefully ended
