Who is the WORST Character in Every Sonic game?

Tails has so much potential, Sega just...

"SONIC! HELP ME!"

For Sonic Unleashed, the correct answer should've obviously been the Gaia Colossus.

In the words of Silver the Hedgehog, "IT'S NO USE!"

Technically not all teams in Heroes play the same. Only Sonic and Shadow can use the lightspeed dash, while Amy has her hammer, allowing her to float, and Espio can turn invisible. All power characters have quite distinct attacks. And lastly, Charmy has the flower thing.

I like the mech stages in adventure 2, but eggman's stages consistently compliment the mechs better, where tails' missions almost feel like they'd be better without the mech, doors you have to shoot not withstanding

I like Big's gameplay, but only as like a minigame

Knuckles wasn’t playing in Sonic 1 with lock on technology. Instead, you are able to play Blue Spheres.

I fully believe Big the Cat is the reason why a huge chunk of games include a fishing mini game and for that sole reason he is easily the best and most important character in gaming

Skipping both Colors and Lost World is so real, since you can ONLY playing as Sonic in those two games and that's it.

How dare YouTube hide this from me for 18 seconds

21:28 Literally just before you said this I though “Oh yeah Dream Team I forgot that game existed”

4:00 I also agree about the Knuckles thing, because the first time I loaded Sonic one as Knuckles on Origins Plus, I ended up FUSED with the wall of a loop

8:42 I don't understand why they couldn't have made it L or R. Making every single action tied to 1 button was a really bad habit Sonic games had for the longest time

20:40 honestly I like how its a little bit realistic how tails can’t just immediately start flying, he has so balance himself. Similar to how sonic can’t immediately start at top speed without a good running start.

I think the case of Tails in SA 2 is special. They wanted each character to have their counterpart, a character with the same abilities that could act as their direct rival for the boss fights. Since Eggman has always appeared alongside some kind of robot, it made sense for him to use his own mech for his missions in the game and, since Tails is an excellent mechanic and as intelligent (or more) than Eggman, it kinda made sense for him to use his Tornado as a mech too.

I'll say tho, it was a missed opportunity to make some of his missions more exploration based, being his own without the mech, using his fly ability and maybe the objective would be to find something while avoiding the enemies or maybe introduce the bombs so he could face the toughest enemies (he wouldn't be able to defeat everyone with his tails) and so it would be a way to vary the formula

In Sonic Shuffle, Gamma probably has the weakest ability.

0:39 no it gave u a blue shears challenge!!

"The street that raises me"
Ofc we were neighbors!
(I love SA1)

18:36 when I first upgraded my Sonic mania to Sonic mania plus, I initially did think that Ray was better but then I just kept noticing that after beating Green Hill zone, and most levels it was really hard to actually be in a good area to use the gliding ability because it was originally Sonic mania with just Sonic tails and Knuckles as playable characters and the game was originally designed without Ray and mighty in mind so it showed and I just found it so often I just could not really use the glide that much so I actually prefer mighty because I love that I could bounce off spikes and he's just so powerful
