Pretoriuskop - A Beautiful Rainy Kruger Morning! Ep 782

We’re up before sunrise at Pretoriuskop and after Sonia once again has to kick me out of bed, we head off into a chilly, rainy morning to explore every little gravel loop around the camp! 🦁🌧️ There are giant boulders, elephants, zebra, kudu, bokkies, a beautiful new bird for our list, a fantastic brunch at Wimpy thanks to Louise, Nic and Mitch and then we hear about TEN lions down the road… so naturally, off we go! What follows is one of those classic DustBugs sightings where patience is definitely required, we spend ages watching what starts as nothing more than a flickering ear and eventually get a little more of a single lion, including a glimpse of his mane! 😂 We also discover hyena cubs, visit the beautiful Mestel Dam for coffee and cookies, stumble across some fascinating Kruger history, meet some wonderful viewers along the way and finish the day back at our bungalow with super simple Prego rolls. Another wonderfully-unpredictable day in Kruger, proving once again that you don’t need a Big Five extravaganza to have a day full of little adventures! ❤️

Watched late this episode because we had to go out. Usually can't wait to watch your videos. To me a biscuit is a fairly hard thing were as a cookie has a cake like texture. Love that you are so natural in presenting your programmes.

Never a dull moment when the two of you are around..................The Orange-Breasted Bush-Shrike ia s stunning bird and your sighting of it was excellent. We call it the "Pafuri Voël" as we heard and saw it there the first time. Sonia, koekies en bisket in my oge klink maar soos dieselfde ding. Beide is lekker.
