It made me sad when I read that Andre cried to his mother as a grown man when a fan started taunting him after refusing to sign an autograph. No wonder he hated bullies so much.

I worked with a man who had gigantism and he told me he had a tumor that pressed against his pituitary gland which caused it. It happened in his 20s after he was full grown, he was a mountain of a man. We both pushed carts at Walmart in Las Vegas, i always wondered what happened to him, one of the nicest guys I've met.

Andre just wanted to retire and live out the few remaining years of his life. He told Vince McMahon he's done due to how much  pain he was in. Instead of thanking him for everything he did for the company, Vince was only worried about losing his biggest money maker. Vince knew Andre was in poor health and knew how bad it was effecting him. That didn't stop Vince from finally convincing him to get the surgery and continue. It's disgusting. He didn't want to miss the biggest payday of his life at that point in Andre vs Hogan. Vince could've told Andre that he can retire, but first he wants to make sure he milks every penny out of him by putting him vs Hogan. It's so wrong what he did to he did to Andre. Andre's whole career he was the good guy everyone loved, and at the end of his career, Vince made him the bad guy, tarnishing his legacy. We all know who Vince is, but back then he wasn't known as the pos that he is today. He used and abused Andre til the very end, and discarded him in the blink of an eye. He never gave a damn about Andre. All he was to him was an ATM machine. It's so disturbing and sad. R.I.P. big fella. 🖕Vince McMahon

Of all the world’s athletes…Andre is uniquely loved. People who don’t even like wrestling love Andre.

Man the ending with the bells tolling with the picture slides, that got me good 😢. He gave us more than we could have asked for! R.i.P to the greatest man and the greatest human being.

Who else thought Princess Bride was one of the greatest movies of their childhood??

I was born in 87. I became obsessed w/ wrestling in 91-92. He came out on crutches at Summerslam at MSG & the crowd LOVED him. He was greatly respected & loved at the end…

I won't lie, I am struggling to hold back tears. I loved him in his movie. I loved watching the highlights that my father had on VHS alongside other amazing wrestlers. When I was a teen, I think, I finally learned he'd passed away many years before I'd seen the movie or the tapes. I wasn't alive for his beginnings, nor his prime, nor his sunset, but I'm here today living in the wake of his magnificent legacy. His story is inspiring and I want to live as he did: Himself, and thus, myself, and like no other.

I had no idea about Andre’s story. Y’all are the best storytellers for fighters and telling the sides of their lives the spotlight doesn’t show.

Thank God Patrick didnt vanish. Missed these videos so much. I glue myself to them whenever he uploads. Thanks Pat!

Brother your ad commercial😂😂😂😂 it’s fuckinnggg genius! You have real talent!

Andre the Giant wanted to kill me back in 1989 at the Rosemont Horizon in the Chicago burbs after I said something bad about his mother!  He pointed directly at me (snarling something back at me) with a hand the size of my chest and I was in high school at the time!!  He was coming out of the ring looking like he wanted to snatch me up!  I was never more terrified in my life and knew that I made a HUGE MISTAKE talking trash about his mom..  I ran for my life!  I never talked trash about anybody’s mom ever again lol!!  I pray that Andre the Giant forgives me for what I said.

André the Giant was a legend in and out of the wrestling ring, but his life was a mix of incredible victories and painful losses. He won the hearts of millions with his strength, charisma, and larger-than-life presence, but he also faced deep loneliness, knowing he could never live a "normal" life.

Despite his fame and fortune, André had regrets—especially about not being there for his daughter, something he wished he could have changed. His health declined rapidly, and though he tried to find moments of peace later in life, time was never on his side. His story is both inspiring and tragic, a reminder that even giants have struggles, and that no amount of success can replace lost time with loved ones.

Thank you André René Roussimoff for sharing your life to us.
Rest in Power, Legend!
Gone, but never forgotten. 💔🏆

As a 7 year old he visited our small then rich town for a show with Georges Carpentier and the wild Vachon brothers. Being a rink rat we knew just where we could be sure to cross him ,at the rink exit to the rooms. Security ignored us seeing us daily. As they left the ring we got into position. I personally got to shake the big Man's hand and it is a memory I cherish till to this day ,yet I hate wrestling. It was the aura of the man ,if he didn't wrestle I would still remember the biggest man and hands I ever seen.✌️🥊🥊

6:29 his mother did try.  She took him to doctors but they just didn't know

32:00  The photo montage during the 10 bells was genius.

I remember watching Wrestlemania 3. That was a big moment for me as a kid. To now learn all the suffering this man went through to make all of us kids at the time happy. It really breaks my heart. Also to know that Vince did nothing but use him for all he was worth. RIP Andre! I was rooting for you during that match.

Bro really made a movie for a vpn ad 😅

27:43 got me, the look on his face the sadness! He will forever be my hero!!!
