These were great! I remember collecting them and trading to get the set with a boy from 3rd grade. Still have the Wonder Bread cards too! Next year will be the 50th anniversary of the movie so I think collectors will still be searching for these.
You have some of everything! Lol. I donāt think Iāve ever seen most of the set. Only the couple key cards. A lot of really cool shots on some of the other ones you donāt see that often. Thanks for sharing.
Orlando. You are not going to believe this. I go Antique Store Picking today. go to this big flea market. And the 1st table. They had a binder in a stack. Full of the same Star Wars cards you showed in this video. And I say "How much are these" The dude says $10. I got them...and they are coming your way. Almost all of them are Blue and Green Border cards. And some are VERY NICE. Plus there are OTHER sets as well.
Enjoyed the showcase of the blue series of Star wars. Crazy thing is I had a chance to buy a full set all series set of them for what a raw Luke skywalk goes for now . A wouldāve couldāve shouldāve š. But we canāt live in the past . Have a chipper day my friend
The first cards I ever collected were the 1977 Star Wars cards. Still have most of them. Unfortunately sold off a lot of the first series (Blue). Still have two Luke #1s.
I bought the complete set, blue, red, yellow, green and orange at the first National Convention in Anaheim, California in 1980 for $6. I gave the set to my son in 9 pocket pages and a binder. We sent the # 1 Luke to SGC and it only graded 5. I still don't know why it didn't grade higher.
You need to get the Luke into a PSA holder! Jealous that you got the whole set! Still working on finishing off my set! Your cards look in really good condition! I would send off card number 2 - 8 to get graded especially the Han!
