The lecture took place on June 12th, 2018, at the Arche Center branch in St. Petersburg (https://tsentr-arhe-v-sankt-peter.tim....

Human origins are as ecologically determined a process as the genesis of any other creature. Each subsequent evolutionary step was both random and non-random: cosmic and planetary events, mutations, and recombinations are random from the perspective of living beings, but the influence of these forces on organisms and the complex interrelations within ecosystems are entirely predictable. What led to our emergence? How did eurypterids and continental movements, dinosaurs and flowers, cats and mice influence it? This and much more is covered in S.V. Drobyshevsky's lecture.

Lecturer:
Stanislav Vladimirovich Drobyshevsky, PhD in Biology, renowned anthropologist, Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Biology, Lomonosov Moscow State University, author of the book "The Missing Link," and scientific editor of the ANTHROPOGENEZ.RU portal (http://antropogenez.ru/author/3/).
