Because being chic isn’t about wearing expensive or luxurious clothes. It’s about the way you carry yourself, having a sense of taste, knowing what feels right for you, and, most importantly, knowing who you are.
Being chic is so much more than the way you dress. It’s an attitude, a feeling, and something that comes from within.
Everyone seems to be talking about what it means to be “chic” lately… so I thought, here I am. Let’s talk about it.

I’m 64 and have never owned a big brand designer bag. I’ve always purchased myself coach. It seems like I have a uniform but since I never go out at night or anywhere I don’t have evening wear. I was thinking of buying something for the evening so I purchased a simple black dress. I haven’t worn it yet but it’s there. I don’t believe in trends, 🙋🏻‍♀️❤❤❤❤

I have always preferred to be underdressed for an occasion, simplicity and understated. I dip into the trends that suit my body and fit my existing wardrobe as it stops you looking dated, that said I like classic shapes and elegance.
I remember someone at a funeral a few years back who wore a combo of red lipstick, big earrings, yellow coat and patterned dress etc saying it was because the deceased person liked bright colours… she made an exhibition of herself and it looked disrespectful and garnered attention amongst the other mourners dress in dark colours.
