The tribal knowledge you have of the weather patterns and how they act and when must be incredibly valuable for this sort of flying.

and nobody is asking how they carried the CAT tractor there?

Awesome landings

Love how you keep talking with yourself while flying. Keeps one aware or what’s happening!

Wow that runway is a literal paper clip with an insane slope. Very delightful to watch

Nice trip Ryan. Never tire of all the technical considerations throughout. Love the time-lapse on the way home over the higher mountains though I'd love a real time take-off on that sloped runway over that river below. How much does your wife help with video editing? Maybe with the music? Good stuff, Thanks.

Over the last couple of years I have really got into flying and wanting to be able to start my journey. Right now I can't afford it but my dream is to be able to one day fly something like a cessna. Thank you for these videos and all the technical stuff you include.

I was steered to your YT by a mate after telling him my 10yr old is flying Sim. My old man happened to run the paradise bakery there in Goroka for many years. We love your chanel and are trying to find all the strips you were flying too on Microsoft flight Sim on Xbox. Your chanel is outstanding and a credit to your professionalism at flying and video production. You've made a real difference to people in both PNG and worldwide. Legend

Ryan, not only are you one the best flying pilots, you're one of the best technical pilots I've ever seen fly. I'd fly with you any day, anywhere !! 😉
You're awesome, don't get cocky and always fly ahead of your plane and you'll be around for a long time! Great flight 😎

Wow! I stumbled upon this video by chance — it's fantastic! The takeoff from the rear camera view combined with the music was absolutely stunning. Great job, man!

Unreal! Ive just started my ground school for CPL, just finished CMET and sit the exam in a week. Confident i will pass but that was awesome to watch your flying over the mountains, just watch out for those waves! 😉💪 Great job.

@iansmith1556 1 year ago

Absolutely love your videos. Real flying in amazing scenery with scary airfields.

Why are those "time lapses back to Goroka" such a soothing feature? I think it's related to the "refrain bits" of Solsbury Hill: " ... my heart going Boom! Boom! Boom! Son, he's saying, grab your things, I'm here to take you home ..."

and a golf course on the way in! of course. and unmistakable.

and no I wouldn't have guessed a cast iron wood stove ... but I'm guessing it can get pretty chilly at 2000m altitude overnight.

Rock it Ryan, lukim yu behain.

Have a blessed Easter everyone.

Your videos are just amazing. You know as they say, takeoff is optional, but landing is mandatory. Always safe takeoffs and landings for ya! Great PNG bush-pilot!
