This was my oldest brother's favorite song when he was alive. Vietnam vet who cherished our freedom here at home. R. I. P. Mike, we will meet again on God's golden shore.

This is a song he wrote based on a conversation with his 3 year old son, who was imagining these creatures cavorting in his backyard.

Forgerty wrote this for his 3yr old son, fantastical imaginative lyrics with fun colorful characters ♥️

Back in 1969 through 1972 Creedence Clearwater Revival were all over the radio dial. From my junior high school days to high school CCR was blasting out hit after hit. The lead singer, John Fogerty and his Brother, Tom Fogerty, had a gigantic falling out which broke the band up and started a long list of law suits that made CCR disappear from history for many decades. Thanks for bringing them back.

Another killer reaction to a classic banger.  What I loved about Creedence most; it was just 4 guys with instruments having a good time hangin’ out.  Their music could be a soundtrack to almost any activity you were getting into that day.

CCR was one of very few hit bands that didn't do drugs. I'm sure you've heard many CCR tunes in numerous movies. Good music is eternally relevant.

CCR are an American Treasure

during an interview John stated he came home from the road. his kids were having a birthday party in the back yard. He came up with the song while talking with his son. he said no drugs were involved.

John wrote this song about his literally looking out his back door at all of the folks he hired for his son's birthday party.

CCR HAD SO MANY SO MANY HITS

John Fogerty is an American Treasure.

Songs like this bring me back to that time.  Didn't matter how old one was, the music carried because life really was just this laid back. We were very very blessed to live this way with awesome music floating always on the wind. CCR is just awesome. Great reaction. Glad you enjoyed it.

CCR was HUGE when I was in school, everyone know the words to all of their songs.

Love Creedence Clearwater Revival awesome group

To answer your question, an album from these guys sounded fantastic..... every time!!

Bad moon arising! Have you ever seen the rain! Call them CCR. We all do

From Songfacts: This song was partly written for John Fogerty's son Josh, who at the time was three years old. Fogerty said: "I knew he would love it if he heard me on the radio singing - doot doot doo, lookin' out my back door." In the song lyrics there is a reference to a parade passing by which John says was inspired by a Dr. Seuss book that he read as a kid titled To Think (That) I Saw It On Mulberry Street.

Have you ever seen the rain is one of their bigger songs they have a lot of great songs

CCR wasn't around long, but they had more number two hits than any other band in rock history.  So, they produced a lot of quality in a short amount of time.    o

Love how Fogerty is sitting in front of a picture of himself in the same flannel
