The Müsli is supposed to get filled with 150ml of COLD water. It has Milk powder in it.
It is also supposed to still have some liquid left, even after rehydration. It's basically cereal, but with oats and fruits.

I know I'm late as ass here, but the reason the Germans go with cardboard boxes rather than plastic pouches is for logistics purposes, since you can fit more food onto a pallet for shipping that way

Stir up the cappuccino, then use it as the liquid component for the chocolate mousse.

Not even most Germans know this: The piece of Cardboard / paper in the bisquit-pack is not only for protection. It is meant to be pulled out of the pack completely to create space inside the pack for the bisquits to move freely and to be pulled out easely without fiddling and breaking them. It is the same with the famous "Leibnitz Butterkekse"

The date on the box s not the manufacturing date, it's the expiration date.

The  Butter  is for the bread.  We Germans love it under the meat. Bread, Butter,  mead . The peppertaste makes IT perfekt. Buy the way in other  MRE the  butter is with Chili or without any flovor.

I volunteer at a rescue service and last year we trained four days with the bundeswehr in a combined  military-civilian rescue scenario. We were shown these rations, too and were told two things. First, you don't use them one by one or just eat them as they were selected foe breakfast or dinner, but you mix them and "cook" with them. You also trade them around with others, jam vs. Sausage, coffee vs. Cookies to "cook" even more individual dinners. Secondly we were told that soldiers in germany always have "that one dude" who has all kinds of additions to these meal packs and yeah, we had like three of these dudes with revolver-like salt and pepper shakers that also included curry or garlic, while others hat tiny squeeze bottles with hot sauce, german maggie or even soy sauce in their backpacks - one even had a key chain on his belt with half a spice rack on it... 😂

The Last German MRE review i saw was just terrible, two dudes that didnt even bother to Translate whatever the package was holding.
You on the other hand managed to even tell people that we got our own Spoon knife and Fork that every Soldier recives once hes in Uniform!
Putting the Cookies in the Chocolate Pudding was such a pro move!
The only thing that you did diffrently was not mixing the iso drinks, but since we had big 1L bottles and you were doing a review ill excuse it :D well and the hot water in the Müsli was kinda wierd but i see people already told you :D

Müsli always comes with cold liquids. If hot liquids are needed, we call it "Brei" or nowadays  simple Porridge.

The chocolate has 55% cocoa content, what a luxury! 🙂🙂🙂

Use the Pepper Spread with Bread or Crackers and Put the Meat Spread on top. :)
