The holiday has finally returned

At the first Sydney Mardi Gras on June 24, 1978, police targeted the lead flatbed truck on College Street, arresting its driver, key organizer Lance Gowland, and Mim Loftus, in the first confrontations of the evening. Police confiscated the vehicle, which prompted the crowd to march to Kings Cross, where 53 people were ultimately arrested.

I have since been trying to work out Mim's connection

Bananas Foster was a special in Paletaria.

Janana was slotted in Groovestock on mobile, likely as she's a band manager for Scarlett

Half of Donuteria toppings appear in here.

If ya wanna bring up other ingredients, the zydeco pasta sauce, I recognized from an old nick jr show called Fresh Beat Band. Their zydeco music had accordion, triangle, violin and washboard. Never knew that episode was Mardi Gras based...

Wingeria remains the only restaurant without Valentine's (or Scarlett in February).

If you highlight Zepha arriving, she's the final debutant here, while Prudence was the last customer of Pizzas Attack.

I love these holidays! They are so good and so pretty (except Starlight lol). Really excited to see the Cinco De Mayo and Groovestock.

I do know a fun fact I learned about Mardi Gras mostly from the Disney adaptation of Princess and the Frog (secretly? It’s one of my favourite films) in Louisiana, young women, ages 18 to 21 years, are chosen to represent Louisianan Princesses as part of the Washington, D.C Mardi Gras celebration. They are chosen by the Mystick Krewe Of Louisianans. Pretty interesting right?

I learned more on this video than in any geography class in my school

I honestly knew nothing about Mardi Gras outside of these games so that was truly interesting! I'll lowk miss the dating profiles but at least I learned something 👀
