Relationships & Standards: Stop settling for emotional rollercoasters, drama, and mixed signals. Real connection after 40 is built on peace, respect, and mutual accountability. If it costs you your mental clarity, it’s too expensive.

There absolutely are good men. They just make themselves scarce among the sea of bad women and bad people. No guy that’s worked hard any part of his life trying to do the right thing wants to have it ruined by those that spent life doing the opposite and are now just looking for insurance to cover the loss

it only took me 58yrs to understand that 97% of all life's problems ive had to deal with were caused by others, and their bs, negative, hateful, actions. solution: stay away from people. its sad to think that everyone you come in contact with, has a im going to fu ck you over, disrespect you, steal from you, in some way, time clock attached to them; but its also reality, and just a matter of time....

I had a boyfriend who set my home on fire in the middle of the night, then he continued to stalk me for many years.
I'm 67 now, and I never got married or ever let a boyfriend move in with me again.
I raised a son by myself. He turned out to be a good man.

53 and have been done sense 47. 2nd divorce hit me hard. Still would like a female to work with, but I see few above 40 worth my time. They are expired worth other then to enjoy time with and they all still want my worth. I enjoy everyday with peace and no issues I can't handle myself. Never felt better. I am hit on at the stores and attempts to be set up by neighbors, I just let them know I am willing and able, but they need to show they are interested and no expectations. That normally ends all offers my way. Women are equal now and need to own responsibility with their own life and I do not need to fix them or provide for them. I live simple and on a beach with my motorcycles and wonderful new to me van. Most are turned off by my Ram Promaster high roof van as it's not classy! Lol, it is the best vehicle that gives me my ability to embrace my adventures.

A job interview: most jobs are ghost jobs, so that's a winner, but no dating is not a job interview because you can choose to answer. Modern dating: again, most dates are ghost dates; thus, dating is more aligned with a star chamber where anything and everything you say will get you hung and not saying anything will also get you hung.

This is so interesting to me. I am a professional, single, and relatively attractive woman. I am in my 50s, and by the grace of God, look much younger. But I am done with men. I was engaged at 40, he realized he did not want to be married. I left and was devastated. Did not date for 11 years. Yes, 11. With the gentle advice of best friends, I slowly began to date. I met two men during a period of 3 years. Both divorced, ex wife drama, and what I truly believe now, narcissists. Took a bit to figure it out, but one was a despicable porn addict, and closet alcoholic. I said goodbye and never looked back. But the trail of debris is without words. I only share with closest friends, family. But I still move through the world with grace and direction, but to hear how awful, etc, women are, baffles me. I, nor any woman I know behave in such a manner. What I see and hear from good women is the abuse, etc from these men. I do not think I will ever trust a man again in my life. It was that bad. If this is true, there are women out there as bad as those men Ive met. Absolutely shameful, all of it. All of what you are saying is true about quality driven and emotionally Intelligent men. That’s the key. But I think quality men and quality women are not communicating. They have been burned.
