The bricks have arrived and our home and garden transformation is moving on! 🏡🌿

Welcome to Episode 4 of our Home & Garden Transformation.

This week the build made some progress, but as always, life in the garden continues around the building work.

I’m taking you around the garden to show you some of the plants that are still looking wonderful as we move into autumn, and I’m also starting to think ahead. One of my borders is ready for a change, so I’ll show you what I’m planning to redesign and what I’d like to do next.

I’m also taking late-summer cuttings from some of the more tender plants that I don’t want to lose over winter. By taking cuttings now and overwintering the young plants, I can have new plants ready for next spring without having to buy them again. It’s one of those simple gardening jobs that can save an enormous amount of money over the years.

And there’s a little creativity too! 🍂 I recently made a beautiful autumn wreath using seasonal materials, and if you’d like to make one yourself, I’ve shared the complete step-by-step tutorial here:

🏡 What’s happening next with our home and garden transformation

There’s a lot changing here at the moment, but I’m really enjoying documenting the process, not only the big changes to the house, but all the little things happening in the garden alongside them.

I hope you’ll join us for the next chapter. ❤️
