Join me for another UK trucking vlog as I navigate the roads from Doncaster to Kenilworth and beyond.
In this update, I am out on the road again, managing the daily routes that keep the country moving. From navigating busy town centres and roundabouts to dealing with the challenges of a foggy morning, this clip gives an honest view of what life behind the wheel is really like. It is a look at the reality of the road haulage industry, far away from the motorway office.
Whether you are considering a career as an HGV driver life or just enjoy seeing the scenery from the cab, I hope this footage captures the genuine experience of the job. We cover everything from the quiet moments on the road to the traffic you encounter while truck driving UK, showing exactly how I spend my time when I am out on a shift.
Subscribe for weekly updates from the road, and let me know in the comments if you prefer driving in foggy conditions or clear weather.

Sugar beet season should be pretty similar to Belgium. Chloe_IRL was actually working last night picking up beets and taking them to the factory, and over there it normally kicks off end of September or early October, then runs through to February/March depending on weather and yield. I’d expect the UK campaign to follow the same pattern — late September/early October start, then running into early spring.
And about the St George “statue” at the Minster — you’re not going crazy and your memory’s spot on. There really was a big St George and the Dragon figure on the grass outside the Minster. The twist is that it wasn’t stone or bronze. It was a huge 3D floral topiary sculpture made from thousands of tightly packed plants for Doncaster in Bloom. The frame was so solid and detailed that from the cab it looked exactly like a proper weathered statue. They didn’t remove it to appease anyone — it just got dismantled at the end of the season when the plants died off. It fooled loads of people!
