I can barely afford $1850 for a three bedroom here in Florida and you telling me people paying $4000 for a damn piece of pie 😂

It's illegal (both building and fire code violation) to have a bedroom without a window.

No telling how long that gas was on. You probably saved a lot of lives my friend.

I always thought that it was technically illegal (the best kind of illegal) for a NYC bedroom not to have a window. I was told it's part of the fire code.

$4000 grand for the first three is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! PERIOD.

If the whole house is an “apartment” then, to my mind, it’s NOT an APARTMENT, it’s a house. You’re renting a HOUSE.

Hey, don't knock cemeteries! At least you know your neighbors will be quiet.

A legal bedroom in NYC must have minimum dimensions of 8 feet on either side, including a minimum ceiling height of 8 feet and must be at least 80 square feet in size.
Furthermore, a legal bedroom must have at least two forms of egress, one of them being a window no smaller than 12 square feet.
For a bedroom to be considered legal, it must be possible to access a bathroom without having to pass through any other bedroom.

Window regulation for legal bedrooms in NYC is addressed in § 27-2058 of the NYC Administrative Code.

“Common Area” in a 12 X 8 mini-apartment for almost $4,000 a month. Hysterical 😂

They had a protest in Boston against high rents. it's time NY and EVERY STATE do the same thing! RIDICULOUS

Am I supposed to feel like $4,000 is a deal, for living in a closet?!

@jmr9735 3 years ago

I've gotten used to hearing about these nutty NYC rental prices, but I'm sorry - Did he say the apartments were $4000??? For closet bedrooms? That's insane. I don't care how supposedly nice the neighborhood is.
The prices on the others were just as outrageous. I just don't know how y'all do it.
That said - any Monday that starts off with a Cash/Charles video is going to be an a-okay day, in my book.
