I hope you left in enough mistakes to inspire certain levels of rage.

Tonnage is ok when your tech base is the same, but you will probably have a bad time doing IS vs Clan with tonnage.

I'm not a rules wizard. I'm pretty sure when a mech falls the pilot has to take a seat belt check to see if the mech warrior gets hurt. If the mech warrior is hurt then you take consciousness check. Love the content. Your doing great work for battletech

Your improvement on battletech rules is solid. Still some mistakes but fun to see the progress. Sometimes mechs just refuse to die. Like two pieces of swiss cheese fighting it out.

I think for you guys running a campaign may be good for you to get the fun full experience with this game.

A simple set up is to choose an era - clan, succession wars, fedcom, etc - and roll up/form a company of mech (or a star/binary for clans or a under strength Level III for comstar etc) by either selecting a set BV value you can both work to, or doing the Campaign book set up with rolling for mechs and pilots.

I think a campaign for both of you would be good as it’ll allow you to use your mechs in a range of scenarios but also to have it that losing them is important - and having damage and pilots carry over between games also helps.

Full-crunch battletech AND a canticle for Leibowitz reference? It's a glorious day!

"He's no longer a-mong-ouse" is peak level canadian dad joking! I'm not saying that your BT reports have gotten me hyped for BT, but your videos have totally gotten me hyped for BT. And great to see Jay back on the channel again!

Straight up Mech brawling is always a good time

@6:56 normally you use the dice to show your moment modifier not the number of hexes you moved. So if you Ran (black dice) 2 hexes, that would be a 0 modifier, so you would show a 6 on the die not 2.

Everyone is loving the canticle for leibowitz reference, but I had to stop and thumbs up/comment for the miami vice reference. Crocket in his white lambo had me snorting my morning coffee out my nose! Loving the new catalyst minis. I was a late backer so I only just got my wave 1 miniatures last month, can't wait to paint them up and get some games in.

Ash, I blame and thank you for your coverage of Battletech AGoAC. It brought me back to my childhood in the best way and inspired me to actually learn how to play the game.

I hope you continue to make videos for this game, and Alpha Strike, as Catalyst releases more material. I’d especially love to see you incorporate Aerotech or even fight a starship battle with Warships, fighters, and Dropships.
