This Luxman R3030 was a fun project and easy access to most components inside, In this video I will show you how to set the BIAS is ever need be, in this particular unit, I didn't have to adjust anything as it was working perfectly, I did get 10w more per channel, the issuse with this unit was dirty potentiometers, especially the AUX and Volume, other than that, it's working great...
PLS be carefull working inside these units as you are dealing with HIGH Voltage...I would recommend this receiver for low maintenance and easy to access if need to repair...

I was actually getting worried about you! It looks like you have lost weight. Looking good! My son has a mint Luxman L-80V that was a gift from his father in law. What a great amp. Cleaning the controls was so easy. Don't feel bad about the speaker not being hooked up. I fixed copiers for 40 years and I would sometimes get a service call for a dead machine, which was easily fixed by plugging the unit in. lol

Good info Joe. for those of us that run older equipment it would make sense to clean potentiometers to prevent problems. Good to see you again and congrats on another successful repair.

Great to see you back. Was hoping all was well. I ride too, so I get it 100%. Summer is for being outside doing outside stuff.
Little surprised you didn't change out those orange (garbage) caps as preventative maintenance. But working is indeed working.
