What a special video gents absolutely loved it. Was up there 30 years ago and watching this just brought it home how much i love it up there. Even though the fish aren't that big yous guys caught 3 or 4 special fish which was a joy to watch ❤.Thanks so much for sharing your adventures and if I'm that fit at 78 I'd be delighted (although more likely pushing up the daisy's 😂)thanks again gents and if you can share that red beaded fly I would love to copy it 👍

This was spectacular. I've fished a few these lochs over the years, but I can't ever remember having good weather like that. I'm lucky enough to live on the west coast of Scotland, and I never take these wonderful places and the plentiful trout for granted. What a great video, thank you.

Just came across this wonderful showcase of the place that I am so lucky to call my home and 'office'! Thank you for the shout-out, it really is very much appreciated. I have had a superb season, although the weather has been challenging in the second half. You had some hard sessions to start with but it was great to see that you adapted and got into some really nice Trout and captured what this pleace is all about - great fishing in some incredible loactions. Your comments about these hill lochs at the end of the video is what this type of fishing all about. Have fished this part of Sutherland in the past. Claret colour in flies always works for myself. As you have said when the fish are not biting just to lay back at edge of the loch and take in the vastness and the beauty of the surrounding. Great video.

Beautiful memories. I used to manage up to Assynt only every few years but the older I get, the more frequently I make the effort.

Enjoyed your week's adventure, The dark wet fly with a red bead is like small stone flys with a red bead we use for steelhead.

Well done, great effort. I fished some of the Assynt lochs years ago. It's about as much about the place as it is the fishing. Thanks for taking the time and effort to make the film, tight lines.
