I will become a commissioned officer before a year from now by the grace of God.❤❤

A heads up for the leaderless task is that there's no expectation on how far you actually get through it. They're looking for the how, not the what. So if you're running out of time and you've not made much progress, don't start going to pieces, it doesn't matter!

I’ve passed aosb and if I heard this before, it would have been a major help.

If everything goes according to plan I’ll be admitted into Sandhurst as of January 2022. This now leaves me a good amount of time to fully prepare and study your advise. I honestly couldn’t thank you enough for this great video.👍

Excellent video, just some points that want to correct. Speed=Distance divided by Time is the correct equation and also a category 2 is a delay for development for a period, maybe 6/12/18 months however after that time you may proceed to Main board it’s not necessary to redo the Briefing stage. The army will assume that you’ve used the time for your personal development. Not major points but important, excellent video regardless and definitely solid advice.

I like the idea of experimenting on the command tasks, as often there is no right or wrong way. But the DS still need to see you make a plausible attempt, even if it fails. If stuck, you can always ask your team members for suggestions.

Formed in 2021 to meet the British army's changing war time roles; and although not actually a part of UKSF (UK Special Forces SAS, SBS etc.), you cannot apply directly to the British Ranger Regiment through the Regimental Selection Board (RSB), while you are an Officer Cadet at Sandhurst.

Even with 3 years of valuable experience in the University Officers' Training Corps (UOTC), the entry system for the Ranger Regiment operates differently from traditional infantry regiments.

You must first join an Infantry unit (The Rifles, Paras etc.) and complete a platoon commander's training course, serving a minimum 18 months - 2 years in the initial infantry unit, before applying internally to the RSB, to join the Ranger Regiment.

First of all, great video. Not too long, straight to the point and clear (almost perfect qualities of a leader 👍). Secondly, I'm currently in my first year of A-levels, predicted A*A*A. I got straight A*s at GCSE however I am not looking to go to University as I see myself as an up and coming Officer within the British Army, more specifically as a Pilot.
Would not going to Uni or being 18 hinder me in any way?
Great vid once again. Love the channel 👍

The process is very similar to that of Indian armed forces. And the advice is relevant too. Thanks.

Was originally going to apply to be a Royal Marines Officer, I was predicted a 6 in Maths and English, but ended up getting 5s (coronavirus has really messed me up), I read on the website you can join the Officers course with a 4 in the British Army. I'm 17 right now I'm going to apply next year after my Level 3 Extended Diploma. The career progression in the Army Officer course looks a lot better as well and the pay ahaha! Training like I'm still joining the Marines though, going to make sure I'm physically ready. Really excited love Current Affairs and this video has REALLY helped me thanks a lot mate.
