This video has changed my life, about to finish my build tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration, 3 years later

This is great, I've recently purchased the EAD10 and I'm receiving tomorrow a 4 channel mixer which I was planning to do something similar, this gives me ideas on how to hook up everything, that platform is great to keep everything together neat and powered.

Incredibly industrious.  Thank you for sharing.

Thanjs dude very good idea

my god i want to do this!

I've used your system as inspiration for my personal sound feedback.
To avoid splitter sockets, I plugged the Ead10 into the phone socket on my mixer and it works really well. I can use the Audio/click pot to adjust the sound independently of the front-of-house sound.

You could also put the band input into the Aux in receptacle on the back of the EAD and then monitor with the headphone out jack on the front. You can control the volume of the drums and band with the pots on the top of the EAD. This way you eliminate the mixer but don’t have the advantage of adjusting the sound of either one. The output jack on the back can go directly to the PA.

Great video mate and such a well crafted set up!

This is genius... I intend to purchase an EAD10 Yamaha box in the next weeks... I knew it can be used as an in-ear monitoring system but you pushed the concept very close to perfection. Thank you so much for sharing this brilliant idea. Cheers

Damn thats so clean! Definitely taking notes, Thank you for the video!

The smartest power deck ever! Hats off, Bro

Wow! Need to see this video in detail!

This is sick!!

I now use the zoom L8 where I can plug my Ead10 and DTM12.  So I can get a main from the main mixer and one xlr back to the main.
