You are awesome, Jeremy! Got all your books and going through the fundamentals 1 for now. Congrats on the baby!

It sounds like a few Mona Lisa riffs. Always enjoy the videos. Congrats on the baby!

I’d like to request, please, that you play how it sounds FIRST! Don’t wait until 3:34 to play how it sounds. Open the video with the sound of the figure you’re teaching. Then start the explanation. Thank you!

Many blues legends are rolling over in their graves after that enclosure fest extravaganza at the end.

great concept, and wonderfully demonstrated at the end in that blues. and so heartwarming to see baby sleeping peacefully through the whole thing.

Productive use of baby's nap time!   Thank you for the musical quote which reminds me of a not-so-elegant enclosure at the Louvre with Da Vinci's masterpiece behind bulletproof glass.  And, at first I thought we were talking about drink cups for SlimFast Protein shakes, but then realized, no, it's "diatonic" enclosures.    Helpful tip on the 1-2-4-3 fingering for the descending enclosures.

Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa! Really enjoyed this lesson; I hope your kiddo had a great nap!

"Eleganto" - Henry Henderson
the impro at the end 🔥🔥🔥

fantastic break down of this figure and taking it as a concept through many permutations in that blues improv! Thanks for this great lesson. I think Charlie Parker used this figure a lot.

So cool how a simple principle applied sounds great. Shh don't wake the baby.

Jeremy, great explanation. I think it looks like you chose a fountain pen setting for your pencil which has given the different strokes of light and shade.

Very cool Jeremy. This would be a great way to connect the chord tones in the right hand rootless chord movement with good voice leading that you always like to start with.

Great lesson on enclosures, Jeremy. I'd like to see you do some videos on classical pieces and turn them into jazz, such as 'Chopin's Funeral March in the style of Bud Powell' for example.  I think that will make for some great content. Thank you for all of your lessons.

Beautiful example of this in a solo by Jon Batiste, timestamped: https://youtu.be/8OEVI52dIuw?t=1512

Hi, super jazz pianist, are there any other videos on your channel that talk about these enclosures? Thank you so much, a kiss from Italy.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

TY,JS. Sweet lil baby, sleep sweet.⭐❤️💙🧡⭐🙂

Jeremy, I’m confused. Are your target notes on the off-beat?  These are four-note enclosures beginning on the beat and ending off the beat? I usual practice enclosures with my target note on beats 1 and 3
