Eventually in 2017, we did find out what happened to the Paradigm Daleks.

They got banished to the Phantom Zone by LEGO Superman and briefly terrorised Gotham City in The LEGO Batman Movie.

'Doctor Who fans react badly to bright colours'
Makes us all sound like a mix between a small animal, or a rubbish washing powder!

its literally been hundreds of years and the doctor doesnt even remember the events from season 2 with the clockwork droids, so this reinforces how the doctor over time forgets

How to fix this episode:
Upon hearing the "good" dalek wants to kill all other daleks, the Doctor should come to the conclusion that this dalek isn't good enough and tries to fix it to become better and not full of hatred for other daleks. The Doctor can try to teach the "good" dalek that other daleks are capable of good, but the "good" Dalek isn't convinced. The conflict of this episode could be the Doctor trying to make the dalek better while also confronting his own hatred and fear of the daleks.

All he learned in Dalek was that if you mix Dalek DNA with human DNA and giving Daleks human thought and ideas would make the Dalek think like a human, which makes the Dalek hate itself and commit suicide, while in this episode the Dalek was completely fine with the change and, presumably, changed on his own.

You not the only one, as soon as I saw the Dalek's killing people and destroying things I literally shouted ''At last, finally they've killed someone!''. Needless to say my dad looked at me funny. Great vid!

wait in dalek the dalek didn't become good, he wanted to kill himself instead of that!

The whole thing about a good Dalek being impossible was refering to Daleks becoming good on their own, without any external force helping them be good. In Evil of the Daleks it was the human factor, and in Dalek it was Rose's DNA mixing with the Dalek's. This Dalek was assumed to figure this all out on his own, without anybody's DNA, athough it turned out to not be true at the end.

This revire is amazing, how can you be so negetive even when you're being positive? That must take talent.

'The Daleks Descale a Kettle.' - Pissing myself laughing....and I wouldn't put that past Moffat.....

To be fair, the moral implications between the Dalek in 'Into the Dalek' and the one in 'Dalek' are different. The one in Dalek never really turned good, as it killed itself because it was disgusted with its growing emotions. Capable of change, yes, but not in a way that would make it hate its own kind.

The one in Into the Dalek (Rusty I think) was only 'good' because it was messed up by radiation (doesn't make sense but whatever), but was completely changed by the end due to the Doctor's intervention, completely turning against the Daleks.

But I do agree with you that the Doctor should remember the human Daleks from Evil of the Daleks, which shows that they can change.

Actually when I saw this episode I pointed at "The Only Good Dalek" Doctor Who Comic Book, which is probably my favorite comic book or series of comics or any piece of literature I've read ever

'You would make a good Dalek'
They remade THAT line?
That's almost as irritating as Leonard Nimoy restating 'The needs of the many' in f**king Transformers...

The Dalek in "Dalek" was only "Good" because of Roses DNA it was a once off, the argument that the doctor should have this resistance to there being a good dalek should have occurred in the Parting of ways, the next dalek story. But inbetween Dalek and Into the Dalek we've had episodes like victory of the daleks that deal with the daleks pretending to be good but turning evil. If that story had ended where the Doctor was wrong then there would be more justification of your argument.

i was annoyed with the fact it didnt occur to anyone that fixing the dalek might turn it back into a killing machine

I hate the end where he reject the soldier girl because she's a soldier, claiming that he doesn't like soldiers and forgets about the brigadier and work with unit,

I just realize that Clara looks like Peri in this episode.

I think there should be an episode about the Doctor finding himself on the Dalek mothership, and discovers the fate of the Paradigm Daleks. Basically, as seen in Victory Of The Daleks, the Paradigm Daleks begin to destroy and 'weed out' all of the 'inferior' Daleks. However, the original Daleks revolt against the Paradigms in larger numbers and a war begins, The Doctor caught in the middle of it.

Eventually, the Doctor would escape before the original Daleks overpower the Paradigm Daleks, kill them, and start anew.

Sure, it would be a bit like Doomsday, but I would really like to see that episode.

I dont want to be a Moff Apologist on this one but I'd like to suggest that the doctor was alive for about 700-800 years between his 1st and 8th incarnation and between the 9th doctor and the 11th Doctor in Impossible Astronaut/wedding of river song he went from 900 - 1103, from there he went from 1103 to about 2000-2100 years old in Time of the Doctor meaning in the time between Dalek and Time of the Doctor he effectively lived the equivalent of his first 11 incarnations or so over again trapped on one planet constantly battling other aliens...I dont want to question his mental integraty but I'd offer that theres a high chance he probably forgot quite a few of his adventures over that time...

I always thought that the Paradime Daleks was an old armor design that was combat ineffective, but that was what the Dalek Backup ball in Victory carried so that's how they had to come out, then after they got away and rebuilt the empire, they returned to the much more efficient RTD armor design.
