My takeaway, don't let fear run your life! You Rock, Gene!!!!!!

Ohhh man, can't wait to watch this one!! KISS was my first concert (13), and I was completely addicted to the Gene Simmons Family Jewels reality show. It's ironic how easy it is to assume things about someone from their persona with ZERO clues about who they really are. Props to GS and LH for making the MOST of the cards they were dealt!! 💚💚💚

I'm 65. I love hearing this story even though I was never a KISS. I was young, and the makeup of KISS kinda scared me. I really admire him for what he has done with his life❤❤❤

Gene, thank you for telling and embodying the story of Jewish resilience 🙌🏼

Powerful story and perspective. Would be wild to see Nard2Hard sit down for a convo like this too.🔥

Fabulous interview. The biggest takeaway was be delusional if you want to be great. I like the question you asked on insecurities and doubts, and Gene said he couldn’t afford it 😂 Set greatness before you and then achieve it.

I have never been particularly fond of his genre of music; however, I can still acknowledge its uniqueness and creative elements. This individual possesses a distinct character shaped by over 75 years of life experiences. His sheer will and determination to pursue his goals without yielding to the opinions of others have contributed significantly to his numerous accomplishments. This serves as a poignant reminder of how perseverance and dedication to a passion can culminate in one’s greatest contributions to society. I recently watched a documentary about their first manager, who played a pivotal role in securing them publicity and recognition. They were indeed a wildcard, yet their publicist recognized their potential and vision, understanding how to transform them into an engaging production that captivated audiences and garnered a substantial fan base. One particularly innovative tactic employed to capture the audience's attention involved constructing large boxes designed to resemble speakers, thereby enhancing the visual quality and overall experience for the audience. This approach evolved into a comprehensive spectacle of light, sound, and stage performance. On a side note:. Hes keeping up that mystic appearance with the shades. Keeping it cool 😎

Again such a great guest, lots of wisdom and good lessons to learn from... still watching and making notes!! Would you please invite someone who can talk about unconditional love in relationships: "are we suppose to have unconditional love for our partners" , "what is unconditional love in relationships", etc, topics like that i would love to see maybe a therapist on talking about these subject, "healthy ways to maintain relationships", but something new, not everyone what says on internet. I receive your emails and read them all the time and love the new info i learn from your podcasts, i'm grateful!

P.s. very emotional podcast today, i'm from a foreign country so i relate much with him, that's how we learn to be grateful and remain humble even if we make it to the top! God Bless you!

Great interview, Lewis. Gene seems like a pretty humble guy. Piers Morgan did an interview with Gene ~ a year or so ago. It's very good and he goes into more detail about his mom, upbringing, lifestyle for those of you who are fans, you will enjoy it.

Amazing interview and video and I've been a Beatles fan my whole life and it just now struck me most of their songs immediately just start with the lyrics lol
