has to be my favorite rendition of this song

David Bass is the best fiddler I’ve ever seen.

I do believe this is my fav incarnation of this band

Amazing energy coming out of this band. I love old time music.

This was the best version of the freight hoppers. Saw this version at the wind gap pa festival years ago.

david bass hasn't played this slow in like 15 years

I adore Cary!!! Those other mugs is alright also... but Cary, da bestest!

Oh my god. I all of a sudden find it very hard to sit still!!! Must....dance....now......!

Just uploaded some clips of these guys jamming at Winterhawk BG Fest in 98'.  Great band.

They played with such zest and spirit you know they can't be denied here, they can't be denied there and they couldn't be denied on any street corner in the world. Everyone would just stop slack-jawed and set their wheels t-whirrin.....and peace would reign upon the land!!

Really cool.🥰

An thats how that goes!!

Capital HILL!!!

God damn it, I love this so much.

the folk punk band Railyard Ghosts did a fucking awesome cover of this song if anyone's interested. idk if it's been uploaded though. prolly gonna have to DL the album. it's free.

This is beautiful.

I think this is still my fav lineup of the Hoppers..got any more?

Love this so much!!

check out Cary at 2:41 - she's got moves to note too miss Liza-Janes

Holy hell they're good
