He’s a great talent. My generation in the 90s and 2000s was less than kind to him and his contributions. I think he represented the music our parents liked to listen to, so he got a raw deal from people my age. I always stood up for him. He’s an incredible musician, singer, and songwriter.
In the Air Tonight, is easily one is the BEST songs EVER, BUT that drum riff is THE BEST, MOST ICONIC that has ever been. It NEVER gets old. It's PERFECTION. HE GAVE US PERFECTION. 💙🥁
The man amassed a $15,000,000 collection of "The Alamo" artifacts, ephemera, Etc. and then donated it to The Alamo Museum with the agreement that all of it would be on display permanently for people to see. If he couldn't sing a lick, I'd admire him for doing that...and boy can he sing!
I saw Phil in Brisbane. It was the best live performance I’ve ever seen! He played every instrument on stage for the duration of each song! The best concert I have attended 😀
Too bad we didn't have a hundred more of him on this Earth, any one man that can do what he has done in his lifetime , deserves his greatness.but there's very few who have
