What happens when God asks us to make room for something bigger than what we can currently see?
Today, Rev. Johnson kicks off our new sermon series, Growing Deep, Growing Wide, with a powerful message from Isaiah 54:1–7 titled “Stretch Your Tent.”
God says:
“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”
— Isaiah 54:2 (NIV)
This message challenges us to examine our faith, our vision, and our willingness to make room for what God wants to do in our lives.
In This Message:
Sing Before You See It
Make Room for What God Is Sending
Don’t Be Afraid to Grow
Are we dreaming big enough? Are we prepared for what God is sending? And are we willing to stretch beyond what is comfortable?
As we begin Growing Deep, Growing Wide, let’s prepare our hearts to grow in faith, expand our vision, and make room for God’s promises.
Scripture: Isaiah 54:1–7 (NIV)
Key Scripture: Isaiah 54:2 (NIV)
