Would you try to catch a non-venomous snake with bare hands? 🐍

Join me as I return to the Oasis 🇿🇦 after a trip to Switzerland 🇨🇭. Coming back is always an emotional experience—especially when I get to reunite with the animals. This time, we shared amazing cuddles, faced an emergency with a snake 🐍 in camp, and experienced some intense moments with dominant lion behavior 🦁. You won’t want to miss this!

“Just became a father and I don’t want to take the risk”. Love Dean and his honesty.

I’m amazed by how all of the big felines, the cheetahs and lions, all behave so affectionately with him! They love him! They act like kittens around him.

Despite being very wealthy, this man chooses to use his money to help animals like these and spread the joy because the world needs more people like him now than ever before.
(Edit: It seems I unintentionally sparked some debate in the replies, so I want to clarify my original intent. My comment was simply meant to highlight that he used his money to help animals, and I'm grateful for people like him and nothing beyond that. I didn’t intend to make any remarks about the extent of his wealth.)

I'm sad that Kobe is by himself now. Hope he isn't too lonely without his brother. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of all the animals!

“Just became a father, I don’t want to take a risk.” That’s why he’s good with the cats. No ego, no hubris, not trying to lord over them or thinking somehow he has domesticated them. Just a healthy respect for their space and allowing them to feel safe.

Smart and effective.
